  • An action-adventure game that presents the legend of the lion dancer against the demonic beasts

  • Act as a lion dancer with magic and defeat the mythical monsters in the dynamic scene

  • Won £7500 from UK Game Funding, and selected by the Tranzfuser

  • Won the best design of the Tencent Youth Game Designer Challenge Competition

  • Won the Outstanding Innovation in Chinese Culture Award of Coreblazer Rising Star

  • Advance in the China University Student Game Awards (CUSGA) 

Responsibility

  • Researching the background of the Lion Dance and Chinese myths to build up an oriental magical world for narrative.

  • Designing and implementing detailed and complex behaviour tree of the monster that instills excitement and pressure in the player

  • Designing the user interface of this game with a related style Designing, creating and balancing levels and content in the engine such as player attributes, props and camera settings

  • Responsible for all of the feature, level and mechanic design

  • Responsible for listing down the requests for VFX, sound assets and animations with outsourcers

  • Implementing the animations of characters and balancing content in the engine such as player attributes

  • Using online documentation to showcase the designed feature,  Plastic to manage versions, Trello to distribute requirements and control progress with programmers and artists

  • Hosting the public showcase event in both of Shanghai and the Insomnia Gaming Festival in Birmingham
